Katelyn & Curtis | Married

There was no amount of rain that was going to stop Katelyn and Curtis from fully enjoying their special day.
I don’t really even know where to start with these two.. Other than their obvious outer beautiful, they are truly an amazing couple.

The way they look at each other makes me heart melt. Every time they were standing next to each other, even if they were talking to other people, you would see Curt’s hand subconsciously reach for Katelyn. Not in a needy way, but in a “I-love-you-too-much-to-not-show-the-world-I-want-to-hold-you” kind of way. Sigh…. : )

They are so caring, and genuine, and straight up lovely. I’m so excited to get to know them even better. : ) Katelyn completely invited me into her world, and I have made some beautiful new friends.
Here’s to a long and beautiful marriage for the two of you!

Kelsey & Baldeep | Abbotsford Engagement

Most people go through jobs in highschool as passive teenagers just for something that their parents make them do to keep them out of trouble, or make a little extra spending money. Kelsey and Baldeep got a lot more out of their highschool jobs than a little extra pocket change. They met a few years ago at thrifty foods, and the rest is history.
I knew who Kelsey was through a highschool friend of mine, and always admired her from afar because she is SO beautiful and always had a contagious smile on her face. Last year, I had the privilege of photography Kelsey’s sister Karly’s wedding , where I officially got to meet this gem! Click Here to see Kelsey in Karly’s wedding photos.
Baldeep and Kelsey, You two are so fun! I cannot wait to Photograph your wedding This summer!!

The Booy’s | Abbotsford Family Pictures

This Family is fantastic.
Ange Booy is one of the kindest, most caring, most genuine people I’ve ever met. Words don’t really explain how sweet she is. She’s such an encourager, and she’s trustworthy and captivating. She’s the kind of person who asks questions because she actually wants to know the answer. The whole family exudes strength. I had the privilege of taking her photo along with her brother, Josh and parents Henry and Brenda. Josh is a courageous, Henry is a fighter, and Brenda is a trooper! They have a beautiful farm in Sumas Flats. It was a perfect day. The whole family was brought together for Thanksgiving. A true thing to be thankful for.
Here are some shots from their Fall shoot.

Happy Monday!!

Josh & Karly | Mission Wedding Photography

In life, I’ve found that everyone has their own opinions. You can’t do anything without someone praising you, and someone else judging you. I have so much respect of Josh and Karly. Teenage marriage has a horribly un-encouraging stereotype stuck to it that it won’t last. A lot of people associate teenage love with lust, but, modeled by their parents, I truly believe these two know what love really is. The way they look at each other shows not only love, but commitment. I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is, but it’s undeniable. They’re a beautiful team. And their beautiful daughter is being raised in the most beautiful way with so much support around them. These two are in it for the long haul.

Their wedding was in Josh’s backyard, and you couldn’t look in any directions without seeing a handful of beautifully handcrafted details. (Little shout-out to Pinterest). Everything from bride/groom games for guests to play while they waited, to the table settings, to the S’more roasting bar, to the lock on Karly’s bouquet and key on josh’ boutonniere. It was extremely impressive!

I’ve had the privilege of walking with Josh and Karly in a photographic sense. I had the privilege of shooting their maternity pictures, and their newborn picturs as well. Their breathtaking baby girl is growing up so fast! Click here for Josh and Karly’s maternity shoot, and click here for the Newborn photoshoot with Jonnie.

I just LOVE this one!

Thank you Karly and Josh for giving me the privilege of celebrating your day with you!

Be Blessed!!

Happy Monday.

Lianna & Andrew | Abbotsford Wedding.

I love listening to how Lianna and Andrew first met. They were at a prayer meeting, both of them going with the correct motives. Well, until Andrew heard Lianna pray, then he was hooked on her. OH Jesus.. : ) Andrew and I were neighbours back when he was learning how to drive and I was graphitying the cul-de-sac with my sidewalk chalk dream house and closet. I know Lianna mostly through her sister Laura, but I had the privaledge of working with Lianna at Lepp Farm Market. I looked forward to when we would have the same shifts because Lianna is so full of life! Conversation would flow so smoothly, and Lianna carries the most beautiful peaceful and joy-filled Spirit with her wherever she goes. Needless to say, I was so excited when Lianna asked if I would photograph her wedding.  These two are SO CUTE together. : )

It was a beautiful August day. Lianna and Andrew had a beautiful sentimental wedding in what used to be Lianna’s grandparents backyard. How’s that for a personal wedding?

Even though Andrew saw Lianna before she walked fown the aisle, his smile was HUGE! : )

Thank you both so much for letting me be apart of your day!

Cam & Sara | Minter Gardens Wedding

It makes me smile just to think about these two. The way Cam absolutely beams at Sara. the way Sara melts under Cam’s gaze.. Sigh..

Cam and Sara had a beautiful wedding and reception at Minter Gardens in Chilliwack. They couldn’t have had a more beautiful day. The clouds didn’t even dare to threaten us. I had never been there previous to going with these two, and I could see what the hype was all about. There is so much variety to the grounds, and we nearly ran out of time to visit all the locations we wanted, and with such a beautiful photogenic couple, it was hard to stop taking pictures.

(Click here for Cam and Sara’s Engagement Pictures from last fall.)

Here’s a glimpse of their special day. : )

It takes alot for me to cry at a wedding, But Cam made me come close.

Sigh..

SUCH a fun bridal party. : )

Thank you to both of you for letting me be apart of the most important day of your life. It was such a joy to be with you two and document your commitment.

Happy Wednesday. : )
